Most people know that bad oral hygiene leads to bad breath, loose teeth, and oral pain but poor dental health can affect the overall health of your pet too.  Dirty teeth lead to a constant showering of bacteria into the bloodstream.  These bacteria can cause irreversible cardiopulmonary, kidney, and liver disease.  Most pets should receive a dental cleaning every 6 months to every 2 years depending upon the individual patient.  When we examine your pet, we will let you know if your pet needs to have their teeth cleaned.  We even offer a 10 % discount if the procedure if performed within 30 days of the recommendation.
