Our Veterinarians
Michael L. Hodgson, DVM
Dr. Hodgson is the owner of Antioch Dog & Cat Hospital and has been around veterinary medicine literally since he was born. His father practiced as a livestock and companion animal veterinarian in Wetmore, Kansas and Michael became interested in veterinary medicine at a very early age. He is a proud graduate of Kansas State University and is also an avid K-State sports fan. In addition to his love of veterinary medicine, he is also a dedicated family man with two children and, the latest addition, Stewart the cat. On his days off, you can usually find Dr. Hodgson on the golf course.
Lianne T. Carr, DVM
 Dr. Carr joined our staff in June, 2008 after working with dogs, cats, cattle and horses in the rural town of Plattsburg, Missouri. Originally from Champaign, Illinois, she earned her veterinary degree from the University of Illinois, College of Veterinary Medicine in 2005. Dr. Carr enjoys medical and surgical cases, and she is committed to each patient's special care. She shares her home with fiance, Kevin, cats Bella and Oreo, and their rescued Boxer named Moe. Dr. Carr's dear cat, Beau (pictured), passed away in March, 2010. His is greatly missed. Outside of work, Dr. Carr is usually on the go and enjoys movies, music, restaurants, travel, walking, tennis and golf.
